The region Bajo Llobregat: first industrial areas of Spain
When industrialization began stronger in Spain the region of the Bajo Llobregat was one of the first in which the change occurred. Located near Barcelona in the autonomous community of Catalonia, yet it remains of sites where industry has a strong presence. Its main town is San Feliú de Llobregat.
One of the examples of the era's biggest growth area is the colònia Güell, which was constructed by the architect Antoni Güell and created a series of social buildings for workers first, which are an example of the architectural style that the artist has.
